We pulled it off in my 4Runner without a true lift or tires, but it was touch and go.

Miller Jeep Trail climbs off Gorman near Hungry Valley, on the edge of the Los Padres National Forest, and the upper rocky sections (including the infamous ‘Edge’) are built for modified rigs. We made it in a near-stock truck, but it was the definition of touch and go — air down, bring a spotter, and don’t try it wet, when it turns greasy and impassable fast.
