Sunday afternoon and evening were for Bryce. We'd come from Cathedral Valley, stopped at Fish Lake for a nap, and made it to Bryce for sunset and astrophotography. We camped in North Campground and got up for sunrise Monday. Apparently one sunrise in a weekend wasn't enough.

Then we started working our way home, with a dirt-road detour and stops at Mammoth Cave, Duck Creek, and Cedar Breaks. It was one of those return drives where the trip isn't quite over just because you've started pointing the car toward Los Angeles.

The drive finally got less interesting in the usual way: a standstill at the California checkpoint after Las Vegas. I've connected the Bryce daylight and astro Lightroom collections here. The photos will do more of the work once I finish picking them.
