Showing my sister around LA
To celebrate my sister about to graduate college, I was volunteered to escort her around LA. We hit the stereotypical spots — Griffith Park — and visited Universal to see Harry Potter world. We also found her favorite pizza, Stella Barra in Santa Monica, which is now closed.

Griffith Observatory is free to enter and one of the best free things in the city — go near sunset for the skyline and the Hollywood Sign in one look. Parking is the whole battle, so come early or take the bus up. Universal Studios Hollywood is the Harry Potter stop; buy timed tickets ahead. Stella Barra is gone, so don’t go looking for it on her behalf.
