It was April Fools and I was inspired by a crazy idea, which is where most of my life energy comes from. When the top of the mountain was closed with wind, we busted out the cowboy fit and did some photoshooting.

Mammoth Mountain is high and big enough to ski deep into spring, and April is when the storms still roll through between bluebird days. When wind shuts the top — which it does often up there — the move is to make your own fun lower down.
