If you go
This was a south-to-north traverse of Anza-Borrego country, with a night down near the border and the Goat Canyon Trestle as the centerpiece (more on that in the next post). Worth knowing: the southern end runs right up against the Mexico border, which is an active area, so be aware of where you are. And this was July — the desert in summer is no joke, so this is a cool-season trip for most people.
