Bend and Mt. Bachelor
Group trip up to Bend, where one of our crew grew up. Lots of fun in town and a mix of ice to decent snow at Mt. Bachelor.

Mt. Bachelor sits just outside Bend, Oregon, a volcano you can ski 360 degrees around, with one of the longest seasons in the Northwest. April is spring skiing — which means anything from boilerplate ice in the morning to soft corn by afternoon. Bend itself is the draw as much as the mountain: it’s a brewery town with a local for every taste.
